I'm usually stepping to the beat of my own drum.
I am a strong type 7 - the enthusiast. I want to spontaneously explore the world. I'm a free spirit with an "if I die tomorrow, will I have any regrets?" kind of attitude. They say type 7's tend to misapply their many talents and become over-extended, scattered and undisciplined. And I'd be lying if this wasn't me. I am always dipping my toes into new hobbies and spreading myself thin. But, it's because I want to do and try everything. What else can I add to my life resume? Apart from being a photographer I am a flight attendant, realtor and social media influencer and marketer. I've done it all. I've tried college, switched degrees too many times to count, worked retail, in healthcare, in education, at a desk, in the service industry slinging drinks and bumping to loud music under strobe lights on a Saturday night. I WILL find a way to connect with each and every one of you through shared life experiences. Really what I'm saying is, I want to be real life friends.
I’m not for everyone and that’s completely okay. My main priority is to serve you — the bride, the mom, the dad, the grandma + grandpa, the client turned friend. I don’t want you to just hire me to click, click away behind the camera. I want you to hire me because you trust my vision and that you know I'll get the moments you didn’t even think would be captured. Of course you want pictures of you walking down the aisle, but do you want me to capture the raw moments — the tears of your maid of honor watching her best friend making her last steps so elegantly down her last runaway as a single woman? I want you to enjoy your day, the day you planned so thoroughly. I don't want you to even know I'm there. I will help guide everyone through the timeline you envisioned. So you can enjoy your "now” and when you receive your images I want them to take you back. I want all the feelings to rush through you again — from your point of view. And then again, from his point of view, then from someone looking from the outside in. Wait, I'm not just a wedding photographer. What's my approach on other types of photography? Well, ya see. I'm far from "sit + pose" and "say cheese" or "don't move." I want to capture movement and feelings. Your engagement photos won't have any prom poses and your maternity photo's won't be cheesy. Nothings staged, I want real and raw. Let's embrace humanity, let's dance.
I love to travel. My passport is always ready to be stamped. And I am willing to travel anywhere you need me to be to capture your moments.
My boyfriend Kory is a semi trucker driver. He travels the country on wheels, while I travel by air. When I'm not shooting or working the friendly skies, we are still traveling nonstop. We live life one destination at a time.
I'm that weirdo that has full blown conversations with stranger's dogs on the sidewalk.
Seafood will always be my answer to "What do you want for dinner?" I'm about 90% pescatarian. A good steak and chicken wings call my name every now and then.
